After all, it’s going to be open whenever you need it – unlike a gym – and it saves on travel time. Plus, after the initial outlay, there are no expensive ongoing fees.
These days, the range, quality and price of exercise equipment has improved dramatically. From all-in-one multi gyms, to treadmills, to those ‘as seen on TV’ specials.
So, could your spare room, basement or garage become a personal fitness centre?
If so, try and make the workout area more appealing: spare rooms are often cold, poorly lit, and bland. A splash of colour on the walls with posters and pictures will help motivate you. Visit your local gym to see how they make their areas more inviting.
